What's the difference between a solar system and a battery energy storage system (BESS)?

A solar system generates power from sunlight during the day. A battery energy storage system (BESS) stores that energy so you can use it when the sun isn’t shining, overnight or during peak tariff periods. We can design and install both, individually or together.
